coilovers on OEM top mounts?

is this an acceptable thing to do?

is there anything extra i need to do to the top mounts?

Replace the top mount bushes with new OEM or polybush

Both my sets of Tein Basic's use OEM top mounts.

Alot depends on the size of spring, iirc the set I made had 2.5' springs so I made a seat to go inside the mount and welded it in, stopped the spring from moving to much that's all.
