Just wondering if anyone has any recommends for a good source for OEM quality CV Boots both inner and outer for a 4th gen vtec. Im not wanting to spend a lot of money so happy with good aftermarket but no stretchy cv boot stuff.
Ive got 3 or 4 driveshafts lying around the flat and i stubbed my toe on one of them earlier today :x
so theyre next on my list for refurb
ideally i want to take take them apart , inspect the cv joint and the bearings and replace the cv boots both inner and outer with new ones.
is there a write up anywhere on driveshaft refurb?
Cheers

Nick

Id probably go genuine mate. You get a complete kit and for the price i don't think there too heavy on the wallet. Could try euro car parts, blue print or unipart. All fit pretty good but wont last too long. As for rebuilding them, its fairly straight forward. You hit the outer joint off with a big hammer  and the inner joint will be held on by the boot itself. When u undo the banding you can pull the joint off. Then the 3 bearing unit will be held on with a circlip. Hope that helps ;) :D
