It's a straight swap, but you need to make up washers to pack out the driveshafts on the front.

Do you need the drive shaft with a 5th 2.0i? And how much would a set of hubs cost? Just checking, I might do it when I finaly pick up my car..

My cost me about £100 inc postage. I get them from ebay and bloke who sell them had another set. I also get all four abs sensors which are needed. They are differently mounted to the hubs. I used my ori driveshafts and I don't think U really need ones from V gen. U only have to find somebody who will make a washer for U and put it under that big nut which keeps outer CV joint into the hub. Washer have to be 32mm ID, 42-45mm OD and 3mm thick. And it works :-) I hope I wrote it clearly.

Just thought I'd point out 2.0 5th gens are 4 stud, 2.2 5th gens are 5 stud.

I think that's why Fons was asking whether he'd have the spacing issue if he converted to 5 bolt Rob... Because you'd think his driveshafts would already be the correct length for a 5 bolt conversion and wouldn't require the spacer ;)
