Hi all,

I have a gen 5 2.2 VTEC Japanese imported Prelude which runs out of tax and MOT at the end of this month.
I will be scrapping the car, however if there are any parts someone would like off it before I do then I am open to offers.

I have found it especially hard to get parts for in the UK being a jap import, so am hoping I can help someone out.
Of special interest, it has just had a new (refurbished) alternator fitted that has most of a years warranty on it.

The car is currently in Edinburgh and will be scrapped before the end of the month, so contact me fast if you want anything.

cheers :)

You shouldnt have had any problem getting parts, JDM or not. Most parts are the exact same. You should have come here for some help ;)

Pics of the car would be good and exact model. Mnaul or auto? Plus any info on any non-OEM items.

I'll take some pics when I get home, is there any easy way to tell what the exact model is, bearing in mind most of the stuff written under the bonet is in Japanese :)

It is tiptronic, so automatic but can be put in to manual (with no clutch). I drive it in "manual", but the auto works fine too.

Look in the passenger side door-shut or on the log book maybe? Or get the chassis number off the VIN, that may help too.

If you get an assortment of pics, which you really need to post up here anyway, we will be able to tell. The fact it is an auto means it is most likely an SIR (Type-S wasnt an auto and auto S-SPEC's are extremely rare). Is it 4WS or 2WS?

Hopefully someone can confirm the exact model from the chasis labels I captured.

As you can see the alloys are pretty scratched (previous owners fault), theres a few tiny dents and it needs washing.

I have pretty much the full service history for those interested in the full car
hadnt really thought there would be much interest in the full thing so hadnt considered a price, im open to offers or perhaps someone can advise what its worth?
