Syron Race 1 Plus - Tyres

Hi, There is quite a buzz going around the internet about these new German tyres. I'm in need of at least 2 new tyres so have ordered a pair of 215/40/17 today for £136 delivered. All my usual tyres have gone way up above my budget of £70ea. I used to be able to get Toyo T1R's or similar for that money. Seems all tyres have gone up a lot.

I will report back how I get on with them once fitted. I quite like the look of the tread pattern too.

Anyone else running these yet or heard about them?

I'll be interested to see how you get on with them, they do look good though reading around. I need to replace the missus rear Beemer tyres which are 255/35/18's! Not cheap tyres to buy and you can't really cheap out. These are half the price of the competitors so might have to give them a whirl.

Funny how people don't like Hankooks, yet they run the Syrons very close on average.
Once known as the ditchfinders, they must be getting better!

Yeah my second choice was the Hankook v12 EVO - which is also rated highly.

However, you dont know what reviews to believe any more - all I have read about the Syron tyres has been great...
Syron Race 1 Plus and vxr test until I found this ADAC review today which says the V12 Evo would have been a better choice....too late now.
