Courier pricing comparison (Feb 2014)

Found this article comparing some of the main UK courier companies pricing, depending on what you want:

Good little article and shows companies like InterParcel and My Parcel Delivery are very competitive if not better priced than myHermes along with much quicker delivery as well.

Reassuring to know there are much better options than myHermes who have managed to lose and/or break more of my deliveries than have arrived without incident.

Interesting to learn about Shiply.com as well, where people/companies can bid to transport your parcel when they have room on a similar route. Anyone have experience using them?

Also shows there are some very reasonably priced options for posting abroad. Should be useful for those selling parts all the time.

That's very handy to know well done.

I've used Shiply aswell for car deliveries and it's been a good experience. But it can take a few days to arrange depending on what sort of company you get. Some are just single vans while others use huge transporter trucks.
