Nuisance phone calls - FIXED!!!

Might get this just so I can stop Barclaycard calling me.

Getting a call at 8:45 on Christmas Eve really put them in my bad books.

Even though they were the only people to phone me in a week :'(

tps only works with companies in the uk any based outside the uk the legislation doesnt affect them

I have caller display so if the number is not in my phone i simply don't answer , if it's important they will leave a message

I def get a lot less calls know

I have a family guy soundboard app on my phone with all the characters phrases on it, when I get a nusience phone call....I put them on loud speaker and get the soundboard app up.

A few weeks ago I had a kitchen salesman talking to Peter Griffin for 5 minutes before he realised.

I used to get loads of calls, but signed up with TPS a year or two ago. I get the odd one now, but when i ask for full contact details and mention TPS they soon go away and promise not to ring again!
The last few months I have been getting them on my mobile instead - but luckily there are free aps that allow certain to be blocked, so I only get troubled once.

I ask them questions:

"Does there be any?"
"What colour is up?"
"If you were at a crossroads, you couldn't turn back, and you absolutely had to choose. Milk or white chocolate?"

i always ask them to wait a minute while i grab my bible then ask them to pray with me and then read them a few passages they normally hang up

Keep them on the line, be a bit vague and keep them talking. Meanwhile, you have a sink filling up with water. Wait for them to ask you a question and stall, go "hnnnnnnnnnn", then drop something in the sink. They don't go away but you can almost hear the disgust in their voice. Alternatively just take a loud jobby when you're on the phone.
