You'll have to buy the whole car, tax and mot it and then swap the number plates with the dvla to get the number plates.

That's what I was going to do, put my engine in it and then brake my car up and try and make my money back from parts. Got no space though or the time or knowledge of how to do it all

engine swap is about as easy as you can get buddy a lot easier than doing a cambelt or clutch

I know some one said it could be done in a day or two. It's just getting the car back with no tax or Mot was the problem too. I wrecked my brains for ages, going through companies and people to help me bring it back but every quote was around £200 just to collect the thing. I just haven't got that kind of money at the moment unfortunately. So just trying to work with the lude I've got which just seems to be slowly breaking on me

Is that not the number plate that was on Crazy's old 4th gen?

Not done a thing with it, the ABS could well just need bleeding, needs a good run to clean off the brake discs and probably new tyres as the tread is pretty low and of course the tyres are over 5 years old.bill wrote:Have you got a list of work for the MOT? Im guessing youve had it checked before hand as im assuming you would have liked top keep the numberplate? I ask as the only parts that I would like would be the numberplate, wheels and if humanly possible those lights on mine .ADHDboy wrote:Thanks, yes I've decided to have a try on eBay before the great scrap yard in the sky.

be a shame to break it and lose the plate, you never know it may fetch more than you would get in parts. leave it run and see what happens

if it aint broke don't fix it https://www.facebook.com/pages/tram-roa ... 8502699270
