I've just bought The Elder Scrolls Oblivion. I've played it for a couple of hours.

Is it no good then? :(

Ratty doesn't seem to think so, I really enjoyed it. Skyrim (the next one in the series) is by far a much better game though, more playable and a hugely improved control system.

I really enjoyed it too, as well as Skyrim. The fact it's so open ended means you can play through and focus on the activities you prefer :)

As far as open world RPG games from Bethesda go though, I liked Fallout 3 better, absolutely epic game :D spent almost 400 hours of my life on it so far

I have that Oblivion game. Never worked on my craptop back in 07 so it's sat in a drawer since I first tried. Game wouldn't even buy it off me. :(

FFVII all day. So many memories.

It is huge, massive in fact. You can spend over 180 hours and still not have completed everything. The time and effort that is put into these games is incredible, things like the fact every book is actually fully written - you can pick them up and read them etc etc.
