These are all very valid replies and very funny but sadly the TPS counts for nothing. I've been registered on there for years and they still keep calling. I've tried talking these down saying its illegal to phone me I'm registered on TPS and to remove me from their lists, but they ignore it. You cant threaten them because they know you cant do anything about it, you cant trace the numbers or companies...plus alot of calls come from abroad on "00000..." numbers and the AA even used 0800 to contact me to sell something the other day.

I also have caller id and can see the number of who is calling and I can choose to ignore it, but it doesn't stop it ringing does it?

These types of calls are just on the increase, atm its PPI - loft insulation etc, but soon they will move on to the next thing.

I think its a great product for £39. The phone only rings now when someone I want/need to speak to calls.
