I couldn't stay up long enough in the end :( What time did it play? 12.50?

So in a nutshell (or in detail as I'm sure you remember) what did they say? :D

Blitskald

You can listen to the show online for the next 7 days: Link

Someone should be able to record it from there using Audacity or some similar software; I can't as I'm at work.

Anyway, I've just typed up this transcript of what they said after the song... (I might have gotten some of the words wrong, but you get the gist of it):

Ally:
  • Ahhh, I’m such a fan of this band. So new! They only really just like made a website like and stuff this week. They’re called Blitskald, theyre from Dunfermline in Scotland, and I heard the track online, I think it was like Wed, I was like, “WOW! What is this new pop sensation!?”
I emailed the guy, he gave me a pretty… I was like “so what’s your story, how’d you guys get together?” And he emailed me with a pretty comprehensive story of how it’s like a computer game from the 90s that he used to play, or a piece of software he used to have and him and his mates spent hours trying to find this software, then they drank some whisky and suddenly it became that song, I think was the gist of it…
Awesome tune though, and if that’s the way they’re gonna make music then cool, not great for your livers but good music.
Jen:
  • I hope you opened your emails with ‘Dear Pop Sensation’
Ally:
  • Yeah that’s how I opened up… I’m gonna make you a star! That’s how I open every email…
