Hey guys,

Was out shopping yesterday and found Halfords top socket sets were cheaper than half price:

I couldn't help myself as I needed a new 3/8" ratchet, 3/8" deep sockets, 1/2" impact sockets. Those individually are gonna add up to £60+ for something half decent. So I thought feck it and bought the top 170 piece top set for £109.99 down from £249.99! Lifetime guarantee and the quality looks great:

I've since noticed there professional tool chests are on offer, bundles half price including their professional 5+7 combo is £199.99 down from £400 combined, or their industrial range at £299.99 down from £610!!! Not a lot of money left from Xmas but tempted to whip the credit card out for the industrial kit.

Scan the receipt into your PC as the ink fades on the Halfords receipts, if they do break you won't be able to take them back with a blank receipt.

i think you struggle to get the ratchet replaced, used to be liftime guarantee on eveything except the ratchet mech
saying that i've had a halfrauds prof 3/8 and 1/2" socket set for at least 4 years and its still going strong with no sign of giving up :)

Did my brothers engine conversion with that kit. Great set of tools and great value too.

Mine hasn't broke yet - only the case clips have broke. Highly recommended
