Interesting read for Formula 1 fans or just for those interested in the engineering of the new engines.
The intercooler is something I certainly hadn't envisioned being like that! That's a socking great lump relatively high up in the car, which being on one side of the car only, must a PITA to balance off? Also, looking at it, I assume it's mounted behind the rad? In which case, that will significantly reduce how efficient it is?
Also a bit surprised to see the way the air is ingested into the turbo. Still uses the same type of air box as the N/A's before, so it has air being rammed into it? Not sure I'd thought that would be a good thing for a turbo?
