Even if they hadn't broken loose I wouldn't want a car that had been exposed to that level of salt and icy spray! :roll:

Mental, I can't believe they just strapped the cars to the deck :shock: especially when you consider the value of the ship, and the potential damage that a bunch of runaway vehicles could cause!

Most cars coming over to the UK from Japan come on roll on roll off specialist car carrying freighters I understand, so hopefully they wouldn't be exposed to the sea, or able to fall overboard! They can come over in containers too, but containers going overboard in bad weather is not unheard of :(

Scary stuff either way!

That does not look like they were strapped down at all......more like driven on and parked.
