Knackered auto box (ripe for manual conversion?

)
If it goes cheap, this is a great buy, black with the red interior, satnav and all looks in good nick.
It's near me and I'm off this week, so if anyone is interested and wants it checked out, let me know.

This is in my watch list

please no one bid as it may make a great donor for my other lude

Surely this car looks way too good to be a donor?

Should it not be the other way round?

All this one needs to be mint (on the face of it) is a gearbox?

No not at all

I reckon my lude is the better example. It has been looked after so much by the previous owner, and was very unlucky to end up needing an engine replacement.
And the fact that this import lude has suffered gearbox failure after less than 65k shows its hasn't been looked after as well as mine.
If I can get it at the right price, it will be a donor. If you don't like it, then you best hope that someone is prepared to pay more than I am, then fork out a fortune for an auto box replacement, or a manual conversion

It wasn't really a comment about your lude tbh - I can't remember what your new one's like, cause I haven't seen it.
The comment was based purely on looking at that one thinking that it's fully loaded and looks so good, that I can't really imagine pretty much any car it donates to, being better than it, if that makes sense now?
