Bit of fun - which McLaren bloke are you?

I came out as Bruce McLaren;
You’re the boss, the gaffer, the leader – the guy who runs the team, and a pretty good engineer, too. If you’re not strapped into the cockpit, you’re most likely to be found with a pen and pad designing the next racing machine. Or underneath one, fixing it…
 Sounds about right! :D

Alain Prost
You’re so studious, it’s a wonder you even needed to take this quiz! Your sophisticated tastes mean that you enjoy a life of elegance and refinery far beyond the noisy, greasy confines of a racing car. Still, let your (curly) hair down a bit – life isn’t a classroom!

James Hunt

"You’re a bit of a legend with the ladies, and your macho swagger behind the wheel certainly helps! A party animal, you definitely know the ins and outs of the business, as well as the addresses of all the best nightclubs in every city you visit around the globe!"

I don't even know who James Hunt is

Mine came up Malcolm McLaren

"My name is Malcolm McLaren, I have brought you many things in my time… teddy boy revivalism, zoot suits, fine tailoring, pointy shoes… sex clothes, bondage whips, chains, the whole bloody lot… but the most successful of all was an invention of mine they called ‘The Punk Rock’"

:? Seriously?

Never watched Formula 1 on BBC in the late 90's (he was co-commentator with Murray Walker)?
Didn't even see Rush last year then?

Also...
Something tells me you might not have answered those questions accurately... ;)
I'm not sure I can think of a description I might less associate with you than that one!

I don't watch F1 and never have tbh, I don't know who any of these people are really

The question about the cars I just picked the combination of letters/numbers that looked nicest

Ah, the good old days of going out trying to chat up women in the 80's. It was either "can i sniff your James Hunt?" if you were into racing cars or "can i sniff your Brian Cant" if you were more of a Trumpton/Camberwick Green kind of a guy like me.

;)

Also, even if you're not a fan of Formula 1, I recommend watching Rush anyway - it's a good film in its own right, properly about the characters rather than the sport.

Plus... then you'll realise why you actually genuinely do want to be James Hunt after all
