Hi All,

I'm looking to generate some interest in a recent restoration project which someone at work brought to me being a Honda nut.

Its a work colleague who has stored a JDM Honda City Turbo 2 in his garage for about 10yrs for his neighbors husband. He has collected all kinds of hondas over the years. This was his next project which he never started but unfortunately he recently died of Asbestosis.

I will be bringing a fact sheet with photos to JAE for anyone interested in buying this project. All money will be donated to charity.

The City Turbo 2 (bullfrog) is a early Mugen development car which was put into production in the 80's. Its a 1.3 Turbo intercooled engine with 110ps. One of the vary rare turbo hondas.

I love these cars! I hope it's black 8)

I'm sad to hear of the circumstances of why it's come up for sale, but hopefully someone with the time, money and skill can bring it back :)

Awesome little Kei car. Any idea of the condition and how much they want for it?

Just Googled the Honda City - I don't remember seeing one before. Great 80s look.

I have some pics which I took on my phone. I'll load them up later when I get time. This is all I know so far...

Defo: City Turbo 2 Model (Flared front and rear body panels with vents etc)
Parked in dry garage for 10yrs. Last taxed 2001.
A Reg
39k Kms on the clock.
Colour: Silver (champagne I would say)
Rust: Pretty bad (sills, especially front panel, some isolated holes in the flared arches, leading inside edge of bonnet etc)
All trim panels and correct interior present. Interior is best bit.
Engine standard and untouched. Oil and coolant is still in it.
Its the version with the digital dash (speedo, boost gauge) s2000 style rev counter.
His wife remembers it was trailered to the garage so never seen it run.

Very very rare.

5 years down the line and a bigger garage I'd be all over this.

I'll dig out what I can from my collection of mugen brochures on this car. Awesome little thing. 8)

Sad the owner didn't get to start it. I think whoever buys it owes it to him to get it finished and on the road. :ugeek:
