I hate it when you make things sound easy, Mr. Quilter lol. Might as well tie that job in with doing the fog lights when I order them lol. :P

Never liked tilted plates and don't understand why they are classed as JDM.

True, it's not a JDM thing - it's just a 'trendy' aftermarket part on the market.

Here's a really good guide for removing the bumper:

Thanks for all the replies!
While the number plate tilter does give almost the exact desired look (particularly in 2lude's pic), it is still not quite what I had in mind.. and after 5 hours of trawling the internet I still can't find that fekkin picture!!! So anyway, imagine the numberplate sat tilted as if it were bolted to a tilting bracket but it is actually sat on the JDM black plastic number plate mounting thing. When the plate is on the proper mounting thing it should look like its meant to be there (..half pointing at the floor, haha!!).
I had a look at a spare bumper I have last night, I think I can unbolt the mounting plate thing, move it down to the next 'rung' on the bumper and just bolt the little bugger on! Pics to follow in a week or so as my car went to the paint shop last night for a new coat!!! so excited :D :D
