Many S2000 drivers cannot handle a simple F20c, so double the low-down torque plus fit wheels of the wrong offset with unfortunate consequences...
It's an awful lot of work compared to a Rotrex kit, but fun if you like that sort of thing. I'd go Rotrex, personally, if I felt it wouldn't worsen the car over NA.
It's a shame he stuffed it after all that complicated work, though.

Wrong offset wheels shouldn't matter. Iv never noticed any difference.

They tend to increase jounce & instability under braking on bumpy roads, partly due to increased leverage as the steering geometry is no longer centre-point.
Add to that, the pronounced passive RWS effect of the S2000 (which some dislike) and it can be a recipe for a handful. The S2000 can be quite sensitive to such stuff.
It's an effect many choose to ignore.
