I dont think it was used in the type V from what I can tell that was the F23....

Looks like the F20b is also not FRM liners so would be very cool for boost!!!

Isnt the F20b basically a destroked H22 so they could use it for the 2.0L racing class?

F20 b is fRM lined!

@dbo, that's mike, its not boosted, you can tell by the itbs sticking our of the back of it. It had a bisimoto manifold that looks a little like a turbo manifold

@ merlin, it was destroked to stick with some weird Japanese rules for certain cars, it maybe a tax thing IIRC.
The h20 with the flipped head was for the btcc.

I have 2 f20b blocks left over from my accord coupe conversions, i have known for a while the f20b3 non vtec blocks are not FRM lined, and have been toying with the idea of boring out the f20b to 2.2 fitting the h22a pistons and crank and slapping on a h22 vtec head.

Sounds like a very cool idea.... I would have thought that fitting the H22 crank would probably get the CC up to 2.2 without the need to rebore....

I think you need to use the h22a pistons for valve clearance, i'm not to sure.
