Some guy in the US is making a digital distributor for OBD1 Honda engines that will allow the use of ignition coils.

Looks very expensive, and also looks like some fairly sensitive electronics in what's typically a very hot place. I wonder how robust it will prove v's the standard dizzy?

Tbh, apart from the few recent loose dizzy retaining screws, I see no reason to mess with the original setup. Guess it gets you a bit of space and maybe tidy up but not much else? I guess maybe if you are running big boost perhaps the OE coil might be a bit weak compared to 4?

looks good - although im not entirely sure of what the benefits of cop conversion is.

Yep I saw that also and thought it looked quite expensive for something that doesn't cause that many problems/is relatively simple and cheap to fix.
Great to have an option though and that it should be a 'plug and play' kit.
