Just a brief note on putting your car into storage. We have been doing this for years now and the most effective thing we have found to keep absorbing moisture for long periods is kitty-litter bags - or whatever they are called. the stuff you put into the cat's mess tray. We used 2 x 5kg bags slit along the top and they were still working after 10 months - not sure about 3 years though !!
