Hi Oilman, I know you post on several forums, so just in case this catches you before you've done them all...

Something's gone awry with that sentence by the looks... Should be;

Another point that may help sales:

Gold is consumable and has been assigned number E-175. It is perfectly fine for vegans.

What makes these ones better than others which are cheaper?

There are a few things that make the Gold plugs different to the cheaper ones. The cheaper ones are often just a normal magnet, which can be affected a lot by the heat of the oil. The Gold plugs don't start to lose magnetism until 150C. The strength of the magnets in the cheaper ones is much lower, as this shows

Some of the cheaper ones are basically a magnet glued to the end of the bolt and apparently it's fairly common for the magnet to come off. With the Gold Plugs, the magnet is fixed solidly into the plug.

I've heard this a few times now. That's why I'd only consider Gold Plugs or Skunk2 ones now.

Plug for our transmission's??

Apparently they don't make one for that, although I'm not sure if they have the right data for the plug size as it says the thread diameter is 32mm, which is much bigger than most. If they are correct, we can't supply one, but if you know it's a different size, let me know and I'll see what we can do.

I'm pretty sure both sump and transmission are M14x1.5. The transmission one just has a shorter magnet so as not to foul on the innerds. Gold Plugs appear to be stubby anyway, so should do both applications.

EDIT: Too early, had this the wrong way around. Transmission is the longer one.
