ted, could you take some pics of the cracks in the rear spoiler please. also how close is the side overhang of the spoiler to the top of the rear quarters, is there any sign of rubbing on the quarters when the boot is closed?

The spoiler doesn't foul at all on the rear 1/4 panels. The only crack is along the back edge and there are a couple of little chips in the paint on the front corners but I'd image the spoiler would be resprayed anyway...

I would like flames to pop from my exhaust, how/why does it happen? ..and no, I don't want a 'flamer kit'.

IIRC, it's un burnt fuel. Either cams are to aggressive or a bad burn in the cylinder (I think)

think mine maybe down to the mapping on the chip plus janspeed exhaust ;)

if i vtec in first then change into second still in vtec its fine :) but if you push just into valve bounce at 7800rpm and change  you can hear the pop/bang of the excess fuel ignite and out pops an 8 inch flame

same if you pull away from lights and are held up by cars in front, if you have to lay off the gas she will burbble on free roll then the road clears and you floor it the excsess in the pipe will ignite and bang

must be a whole mix of things on mine from no cat or boxes in exhaust at all and a rich map ;) but my vtec crossover is far to aggresive and is worse now with the fm shortshifter, sounds strage but the punch seems to time itself with the click in of the gearstick ;) but the longer throw of the oem stick seemed to take longer to engage (if that makes any sense?)
