I keep seeing Ludes!
This time, it was a white 4G on the A40, Churcham, at about 1825 today. (I think it was being followed by a good looking red MGB.)

You get about a bit, for an islander.

Yes. I quite like looking at stuff and inventing reasons for going to places I've never visited before.
[PS: I don't live on an island, unless you mean Britain.]

Good for you for getting around, most people fly thousands of miles, but know so little about the gems the U.K has to offer, or even Europe, for that matter. I was alluding to the Isle of Wight, I assumed a Hampshireman would know who 'an Islander' would be.

So right. I can't tell you the number of times recently when I've looked around and thought 'why would you want to live anywhere else'? Or in any other era? This forum represents two (or even three) generations. We're all blessed.
I was on the Island last week, as it happens.
You're a Hampshire man, too, so would know that I wouldn't have put 'Hampshire' as my location if I'd been from Isley Widget ...

'isley of widget' spoken like a true Hampshire man. Do you pronounce it 'Oile uv Woit' and 'Point' of milk, too!!
