Arrr love.
Yep those the the new silver vans since 2012. I will be getting a new van on the 66 plate next year and it will be a new t6. Going all out with dsg 6 speed gearbox and maybe a sportline.

I was thinking of upgrading to a sportline last year, but damn me they are pricey!

Yer they are.
I have the 84ps base commercial. No leccy windows or aircon.
Its as close to a sportline as possible but isnt.
But i may end up getting the 140bhp model so i can have the 6 speed box with dsg and remap and fun forge intercooler etc. Should be close to 190bhp. Assuming the new engine remap better than the current 140-175bhp maps.
Also the 6 speed box can handle way more torque and alot lower in the rev range.
Plus i want air con, Led lights front and rear etc. But its a good thing the chassis is the same as the t5 so i can upgrade to some bilsteins and run my borbets.

Out of interest, would you be able to sell your current van to a new ChipsAway franchisee Ratty?

A new franchisee will have to have the silver vans and they usually get arrange by birmingham VW on a leese basis. I buying outright next time.
Its written in my contact that the van needs to be renewed every 5 years to keep up brand apprearance. Thats fine by me as i agree but it would save alot of money not doing that but never mind.
The only old vans in the network are those who have advanced and got a car car/bodyshop as well as a mobile service.

You own your current one now though, don't you.
So at least you get something back selling it on after?

tbh I think yours looks better in the white?

Its a 3 1/2 year hired purchase and i bought mine after that so yes i own it and ill get £8-10k back when i sell it.
I agree, i much prefer the white vans to silver. They went with silver to get rid of the white van man look and have a more professional cleaner livery.
However i feel with an itch of the modding finger, a poke and a tickle, the van can look shweet.
My van gets loads of attention and since having wide low wheels i seem to have more customers with modded cars.
