Dark Red MK5 Prelude with JDM plates Hemel Hempstead

Post by G-lude » Mon May 11, 2015 12:27 pm

Was heading into Maylands Avenue around 6pm last night, not sure if the green eg was convoying but the Prelude looked very nice!

From what I can tell had a cream interior, lowered with gunmetal alloys and Motegi kit all round :)

Hey G-lude
That was me, we were heading down to maylands to find a quiet spot for alittle photoshoot.
The green EG was my brother.

I instantly passed you heading up to jarman park and saw a black lude with front jdm plates. Your prelude in black does look tasty :)

Thanks for the comments G-lude

Didn't NTL used to be based in Maylands Ave? I can also remember the large Kodak building on the roundabout in the centre of H/H. I'm talking 30 years ago.

@prelude_h22 Thanks for the comments! Since owning my prelude I have only seen a handful around, but yours was truly stunning! Very jealous! :) I will be rocking a Motegi kit myself soon when I can find the time to get it painted up :D will be sure to have a nose at your build thread :)

@prelude91 not sure about NTL but the kodak tower is still here :) In fact its where I work 8-)

I thought it might have been demolished as it had severe concrete cancer which developed not long after it was built.

There was a big overhaul a few years ago, most of it is now apartments, and they have a fancy film reel statue in the courtyard to mourn the days it was kodak.

@bennyboy and then theres me thinking I never see any ludes around hertfordshire!

Thanks G-lude for the comments. Much appreciated :)

Isn't the Kodak tower now luxury apartments??
That magic roundabout is a nitemare - thankfully I never have to use it. lol
