4WS is locked straight as it needs to be re-mapped with Honda and I dont like it anyway.
:?:

How frigging dangerous, the wheels aren't locked when the 4WS is 'disabled'

looks good at night as its had a headlight conversion done right and not on the cheap.
Erm, looking at the pics, he's stuck an HID kit into OEM reflector headlights

Who's gonna do the duty of sending him an 'informative' ebay message?

ME!!!
Hi Matthew,

A couple of questions if you'll indulge me.

1) You state in the advert that the car is a VTI-R - this was not a model for sale in the UK, there wasn't a Type-R prelude ever made, unfortunately.

2) How have you "locked the 4WS straight"? Under normal conditions the 4WS is held straight by 2 big springs, in no way is it locked and safe to drive on. Does the 4WS light come on when you turn on the ignition? Also, there is no mapping available for the 4WS so not sure what you mean by this?

3) The "headlight conversion" looks to me like an HID kit has been installed into the OEM headlights. Not only is this illegal, but will dazzle all other road users. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Regards

Adam
First time I've done one of these, this could become a new hobby of mine!

I see it as making sure any potential buyers looking on here see the notes we've spotted, and also informing the seller may trigger him to edit his advert accordingly.

He may have just had an AuDM VTi-R imported thinking it was 4WS when they're only 2WS?

Had a response, seems a genuine mistake on the VTI-R, and uneducated on the other elements.
Hi Adam

You may be right about the R on the car, I will change this.

car has been de-catted and with the intake modification, this car leaves other black top 5gens for dead ...everytime.

4ws was like this when I bought it, I have had no issues with it. tech notes on this state that if there is a fault on the 4ws, the mechanism will lock itself into position. the light is on yes!
I have had no signs or feeling the car is going to flip, crab or give the impression there is an epic crash looming?
By mapping I meant the computer box for it re-working or whatever technical word you prefer.

No road users have ever flashed me, verbally abused me for my headlights. No police have ever stopped me and said they are too bright.
I dont know how to explain if its a HID in OEM lights. It passed it MOT with it fine. cant see how this is illegal, i would have been pulled or failed my MOT.

thanks

matthew

He seems ok. At least he's took your advice on in some respects :)
