Hopefully it wasn't anyone on here ...

Green 4g, black wheels doing well over the ton in rain, screaming down the outside lane, with no lights on (around teatime).

Spotted just as we were leaving the services. I thought "Aye, Sunny Jim, PC Copper will be on your tail soon ..", and sure enough about five miles up the road, there's the Constabulary flashing all their lights having pulled the Lude over for a wee chat.

 Must've had serious second thoughts the speed they were going! It was even faster than i usually drive, and I just came home from cruising round much of Europe at a steady 100mph (in the MG, it has to be said, not the Lude).

Traffic near Manchester was a bloody nightmare yesterday - apparently a lorry shed its load on the M6 northbound. We tried to divert through Warrington, having the same thought as about 10000 other people. Took us two hours to get from J19 to J22.

Could have done without it, being as we were trying to get from Birmingham to Aberdeenshire!
