When prepping my car for its resto I also found very light rusty in these areas on my 92 4th gen. It was all stripped back with deox gel to clean metal before the respray.

What I was suprised by was how well the internal doors survive with no rust treatment from Honda. On my 4th gen they were spottless

Now covered in Dynax S50

On another note, the JDM chassis seams to have yellow rust wax treatment inside the rear quarters on the 4th gen, and nothing in UKDM 4th gen at all .
