Ooh bugger, that looks pretty severe mate (the cracked skirt), the rust isn't looking too bad at the mo, but it's probably been repaired before when the skirts went on.

Another thing, is that a bump strip protector thing on your door? As far as I'm aware they promote rust too... just saying.

Yes pritty gutted about it guys. bb1boy thats just it though, i am wondering if the guy who put my bodykit on put it on top of the rust which was allready there? When i picked her up [first brought the lude] the wheel arches where very rusty. When i questioned him about it he said something must of hit it, but i know nothing hit the sideskirts, and am pritty sure he was just covering himself from the job he did. Got the feeling he could take advantage of me as i knew nothing much about the lude at the time, and imho he has i feel. There was rust on the precise bit where that particular sideskirt meets the wheel arch you see!

Yes i have bump protectors on both doors mate.....Should i take them off?

There is a bump protector on 1 door of my 2nd gen, and that door has a patch of rust exectly the same size underneath it. I'd chuck them mate, just do what I do and hold the door with your fingers wrapped around that point when you're in a tight spot... Skin grows back

I've done the arches, but there's plenty left still to do on the rest of the car, I've gone a bit nuts with it in all honesty.

I did it myself, so just the replacement panels and my own time, lots of time.

Theres a link in my sig below if your interested.
