If you keep a bit of pressure on the forward edge door with your knee while you undo the bolts you can just grab the window frame and lift the handle and the whole lot comes away clean. Saves messing around with wobbly jacks and stuff.
Refit it the opposite way. Lay a blanket across the sill in case the door drops a bit and just push the door onto the latch hold it in place and get some bolts in.
And Ammo is right - they are stupidly heavy.
remove mirror, put window all the way down, pull weatherstrip towards you from outside the door(not so much up but like twisting it towards yourself) this should preserve the clipsRattyMcClelland wrote: How do i remove the rubber/plastic weather strip on the door below the window next to the wing mirrors.
