how real does carbon wrap look when lacquered?

iv been looking at the 1080 and thinking thats the one im after. it looks much better in the light but iv yet to see it in the flesh......

You mean put carbon sheet on the door trims i don't know anyone else that has done it but me, i just thought i would try it instead of painting as little rust areas started to appear and they have lasted really well
Had car washed loads of times with no probs.
Only thing is not to polish them as it leaves marks , you can clean them with bug-off stuff though i found out , but safer just to not do it.

I measured them up and the guys cut them to size on their pc so only needed a small bit of cutting

im going to take the plunge and try it myself. i have a couple of parts i want doen. could waste £50 could save it.
