@c_doughty1

What size calipers are you running? I have some powdercoated red calipers up for sale :)

Personally if you know what your doing id go with powdercoating as its a much better finish and it also gives you the opportunity to rebuild the calipers :) just depends how much work your prepared to put in ;)

Well......my thoughts are, I get another set off another car a scrapped one potentially. Then strip them and clean them...then either paint or powder but to powder I'd have to send them away as I don't have the equipment...once painted or powder I'd replace all seals and pistons and put on my car....then do the exact same to my old ones and sell on to another prelude enthusiast...
Reference to red that's not really what I'm after, I was thinking more white, black or silver.

Seriously, plasicote pewter in the pot.

Its an off silver/steel colour which looks much more natural on a caliper.

Buy two pots and a small brush from halfords. take the wheels off and spend two hours building up a few coats. you wont be disapointed.

The reason i say brush is you leave them on the car so you dont get overspray. The bells can be done the same.

This was the stock calipers done the same after 20k hard driving.

Pretty much what I planned to do :) I got a decent price on the powdercoating as a friend of mine worked for a Porsche specialist at the time... It's going to be more expensive but you get the peace of mind also that you will have pretty much brand new calipers after the rebuild :)
