Vauxhall Meriva Turbo

Afternoon all!

It's only a year or so old, so didn't need much by way of correction. Alan wanted a long lasting protection on this, and had done a bit of research himself into Ceramishield and asked if I'd apply it. Of course I said!

So, I started out with a good Magifoaming, with APC applied to badges and what not, agitated with a 1" brush. Then a 2BM wash with Valet Pro Wash & Protect. Wheels cleaned with another 1" brush, with the tried and tested Very Cherry non acid at 1:10, as the wheels are still in good condition and only a smattering of brake dust.

A few befores:

Love the lines of this one:

Now, given the pretty good condition of the car, I gave it a one step polish, using Menzerna Final Finish on 3M pads. Full IPA wipedown after the polishing session, to remove any remaining oils (this was post 2BM wash again). At this point, the beading was sublime (unfortunately no photos). So onto the Ceramishield. Piece of cake to apply, just as easy to remove with Autobrites 16" buffing towels. This left a finish that Alan was gobsmacked with. Once the whole car was coated, I applied CG New Look Trim Gel to all the plastics such as mudflaps, scuttle panel etc. We used Autoglym Tyre Dressing for the tyres.

A few afters:

Alan loves the shine, and loves the level of protection even more. He's a waterless wash fanatic, so I get the feeling he'll really reap the rewards of the Ceramishield!
