Rusty wheel arches?

So whats the best way to restore them? I have a bodykit on mind.....

Any help would be great.

Ok cool, although i wont be able to do it myself as havent done it before. Will have to pay an expert to do it..... :twisted:

How much would we be looking at here? I will get some pics up off the lude tomorrow with the rust. Its not terrible at present, but deffo needs doing soon or its going to get pritty bad i would think.

Often with rust its the hidden stuff thats worse despite looking good outside.
Cutting out arches and rewelding plus filling and respraying would be close to £700ish for both sides but you have the added complication of your side skirts and they look moulded to the rear quarters. Guarantee rust will be under there to add to the problem. But with your red the colour might need blending onto the doors and maybe the front wings to add up the costs.

Oh... :( Maybe i am better off buying a new lude for that price? Been thinking about it for a while. If i can get it done cheep i will go ahead with it, otherwise i may well sell/break my current lude. :cry:

Think about it though mate, how much is a new 'Lude going to cost you? ...and what are the chances that it will have rust-free arches? If you can save up the money, I would fix the car you have..

its also no guarantee that the rust wont come back anyway

the price of lude's, just buy a vtec imo

swap any good bits over
