Bonnet support pole pivot / grommet upgrade

I'm talking about that round piece of plastic that the bonnet support pole sits in. I've had two that have broke on my 5th gen and I very much doubt I'm the only 5G owner who has had this break on their car. The first broke years and years ago and I got a used replacement from @Salazar's donor Prelude. Unfortunately, that broke a few years later. When the teeth break, the bonnet support pole still stays in-situ, but is a little loose, not good if you're OCD with your car. As the design seems to be a weak point, I've used a much sturdier part to replace it:

I got this from a 6th generation, 52 reg Honda Accord, found at a local breakers yard. You'll need a flat head screwdriver to pry it out. I can tell that the design and plastic are both much more robust than the original Prelude part. I checked out a few other Accords at the breakers yard and none of this had the part broken.

The outside diameter is slightly larger than the original part so I had to drill and file out the hole where it plugs in to. Only by about 1 or 2 mm. The inside diameter is a perfect snug fit for the bonnet support pole.

Most probably.

The reg plate of the Accord was RK52 YEU, if that's of any extra help.

90601-S84-A01 you are just used to seeing Prelude part numbers that is all

You can tell if it is a Lings part number by looking at the URL. If it has PFK in the middle somewhere it is a Lings part number.
