Which de-rusting stuff

Ok,
I have some brackets I've taken off the Xantia this weekend that I want to de-rust and treat before I refit them (more on that saga in another thread) so, I know there are various people on here using Bilt Hamber stuff for this, to good effect.
So what bits is it I need and where's the cheapest place to buy them?

Best with a liquid rather than a gel for small bits, Scale-x on ebay is pretty good (40% phosphoric acid) still works well at a mix of 5/95 with water or rust off (80%) mix 2.5/97.5 with water.

I used some BH Deox Gel a couple of weeks ago. Not too impressed with the results!!

I used 80% vinegar with great results. But have no idea where you can get it from

I will always use Bilt Hamber personally, as it is the best there is. Other methods are good (don't get me wrong), but this is the dogs danglies.

Thanks guys - have ordered some Scale-X.
Could do with some gel type stuff too, for some of the stuff that can't be taken off the car for immersion.
So what are the recommendations for that?

Bilt Hamber detox gel, it's the only one I've ever tried. It works well, though you do have to put some effort in, mechanically removing most of the rust, then apply and cover, leave 24 hours, work in with a stiff brush, reapply a bit more then rinse off after a further 24 hours.
