Nice colour scheme Simon..red & black is my favourite. 8-)

Can't help but think the DOHC VTEC could be black as well though, to continue the theme across to manifold cover..

Have you tried it? Maybe get a sharpie or some tape on it to test the water? :think:

I do like the idea Crunchy as I think it would make it rather stealthy but my problem is I have ZERO faith in my abilities. To be frank I'm scared witless I'll muck everything up and make a right pig's breakfast of it.

Cheers matey. I am rather chuffed with it. While I was back in Blighty in January I bought the lead cover (amongst other things) off Tim (H10NDR). I think it adds something special to the overall look.

Yes mate, a tidy valve cover really makes the engine bay..and the car for that matter. That's why I want to do a nice job on mine. :)

Given the TLC you obviously lavish on your car (and your great looking house btw), I bet you'll have a rocker cover to be proud of in no time at all.
