Interesting shell repair...

My BA8 breaker had a pretty unusual and substantial repair at some point in its JDM life (think it must be a JDM repair, on account of finding a jap coin still under the carpet
)
I found it interesting, so thought I'd post up in case any other lude geeks do
Section of the inner sill replaced;

Love the way the cross stiffeners don't attach to the sill at the ends;

Also love the way the stitch welding runs over the top of the sill, down just below where the loom would cover it and then... just seam sealer for the rest with an occasional tack weld

To be fair though, that's actually the same as the way the oem seams are done on the opposite side (but the inner sill is obv one piece all the way, no join half way along).
It's a reasonably involved repair tbh, can only assume the car had been T-boned, to have needed a repair like that???
