Wipers smear across windscreen.

So before getting new wipers, what is a proper clean?

Do i :
1. Sand paper?
2. Clay
3. Polish
4. Then protection with G4?
5. Rain-X thereafter?

Cheers all

any kind of glass-compatible sandpaper (Cerium Oxide) will cause a flat spot to appear wherever you flat/polish it.

any good quality glass cleaner that contains vinegar will do the job.

also clean your wipers with vinegar and you should be ok ;-)
