ok so i have a spare sunroof, mine needs doing and am thinking carbon skin, but another though accured to me today as follows.
while serching for paint for my small rust problem, i came accross a site which could send me any colour if i send the paint code, nothing new i hear you say, but this got the coggs going.
what if we could set up a sunroof exchange kind of thing.
i could repair my sunroof, then offer it on an exchange kind of offer painted to your paint code, you then send your old panel back to me for the next person.
pics would have to be involved to ensure a good finish, and some trust wouldnt go amis (wouldnt want to lose my sunroof).
question is what kind of price would be fair?
there are a few details that need to be ironed out.
any ideas?

good idea but there are some scabby roofs out there lol

yep sure is,that is why pics would be good. but there are rust eater chemicals, and filler primer. dont fancy the carbon mod for all as it may be expensive, hey we drive 20 year old cars, we are skint well most are at least some just stubern buggers and wont buy a new car

Reminds me need to swap out my rusty sun roof for the less rusty one I have before I get water leaking in as it's that bad

yeh mines bad, but the spare is good, but the wrong colour hense the carbon skin. but if others could benifit then why not
