I took my caliperss off for a summer clean and I thought should I paint these? So what's best? Spray? Powder coat? I can spray them my self just will it last?

Plastcote pewter in the pot, not the can. Paint it on scrubbed and degresed calipers. 3 coats is good for years. Needs lots of shaking in the pot.

They would have to be fully stripped down to powder coat, so painting is the only option.
I'm with brush painting also. Spray gives a better finish, but it's easier to touch up after with brush.

What he is saying is either spray them or use a brush, but if you use a brush it is easier to touch up.

Black Hammerite from a tin is what I use on my calipers and it works fine.

I was thinking maybe a silver colour, white or black....

My calipers are white ..and they're always drokking filthy

Black is simple, looks good and it is low maintenance. Plus you can paint the bells of the discs in matching black.

Spraying would give the best finish if our calipers weren't all so pitted, but with painting with a brush you can apply it thicker and with enough streak-free layers I thick produce a better finish.

There are lots of options for brake caliper paint on eBay. Just make sure you get enough. A 250ml tub will be cutting it fine if you want to do a proper job.

You can paint the bells any colour to match!
