Front lip painting, Glasgow area?

Hey all,

recently purchased an urethane oe style front lip for my 5th gen & wondered the best way of painting? How much is it likely to cost to have it done in a bodyshop or would I get away with £20 of rattlecans? I have a couple of small rusty spots appearing at the corners of my rear arches so wondered if it would be easier just sticking it in & having that done as well at the same time, any ideas how much a couple of tennis-ball sized rust patches would be to get treared & painted?

Sorry for the lack of pics, however it's just occurred to me to ask you guys' advice before I crack on with it!
Cheers,
John

Personally I would stick it into a body shop and get it done all at once. Best to get the rust stamped out as quick as possible, and the body shop should be able to match the colour exactly. No ideas on price though as it depends on where you take it ;)

Thought as much, cheers Merlin - you don't know of anywhere good & reasonable in the Glasgow area perchance do you? Never had much in the way of body/paint work done before & don't have anywhere particular in mind :)

Edit your thread title to include Galsgow and some of the other guys from that way might be able to reccomend a place.
