HALT! Rust

Dudes, need some advice.

What should I do/use to stop rust from getting any worse and amd to stop it spreading? It's a shortish term thing until I get an opportunity to do it properly.
I'm wanting to cut it out and repair it properly as a learning exercise at the start of next year or even over Xmas.

Regards

Phil

Rust remover and dynitrol are both demandable ; -)

Exactly that ^^^
Clean it, wire brush/Emery cloth to remove all the loose stuff, rust treat, spray with dinitrol.
Or if it's in visible areas and you want it to look prettier, quick spray over with etch primer and top coat instead of dinitrol.

I didn't think 4g's rusted when they spent their lives confined to garages though... ;) :-P

I recently bought the POR15 starter kit online - well priced and seems to have some good reviews online.

Going to use it on the inside of my rear arches and a small patch of bubbling on the bottom of the drivers side rear arch.

Hopefully will have some good results and halt it spreading till I can justify spending the time and money on replacement arches

what about just plain old wax melt it and pour it all over the bit your looking to protect after you have treated it with some stabilizer inside and out assuming the area is dry that should hold it off for a while
