Cleaning Up Carbon

Post by toadster » Thu Jun 02, 2016 12:31 am

Lo Guys

Anyone know the best stuff to get my carbon wrap on my pillars to shine again :?:
Polish has got on them over time and it dulls the finish :(
It's the self adhesive film stuff.
Was told to try bug remover stuff but didn't work :(

Cheers all ;)

When I had some of that carbon film on my old sunroof, I buffed it up with Meguiar's quick wax. It's not the paste wax, it comes in a spray bottle. It took off quite a bit of crud as well as giving it a nice shine. ;)
Maybe worth a go?

Vinyl should be replaced every couple of years anyway as it breaks down in the sun - fitting some new stuff might be your easiest option, mate.
