I was up visiting @newkid today to help take some parts off the Orange breaker lude and he pointed out that the wings west sides on the car were NOT wings west :?
They look identical in every way but when these were removed it turns out they are lightweight fibreglass ones with Japanese lables on them. Never seem these sideskirts before and was wondering if anyone knew if the Wings West ones were maybe a copy of these Japanese side skirt or vice versa.
Any help appreciated 8-)

Im sure newkid will post up a few pics in a day or two...

Hey @newkid, thought I'd just post a reply here.

As far as I know Wings West didn't copy anyone. They are their own design. Generally if anyone is going to make a copy of something it will be in fibreglass and not ABS (or whatever), so I'd say the fibreglass ones you have are the copies.

Love the wings west lip kit.... Quite a few copies being sold here for around $300...
The original seems to retail at $700ish

the Orange breaker lude also has an rear lip - looks like a bit like a euro lip but might be a good idea to take the bumper off and see if there is a sticker on that :)

Still cleaning them up a bit but there a perfect fit and extremely light, stickers are under some of the fibreglass so not been added a later date, looks to be of the same quality as some of the hiro, azect etc so really not sure if there copies.

I was going to say Japan seems to favour fibreglass over ABS when it comes to lip kits n sh!t. I'm sure they must also make copies of other kits just like every other country does as well though. I'm sure the likes of someone like Alex from Fiberworx also has his own label and he makes copies on request as well.
