What colour do you think I should go for? NEW COLOUR ENTRY!

Well Dom did it the other day, so it's my turn now. I did want to keep this to myself until it's a reality, but I am very undecided on one little detail.

As she stands at the moment, she looks like this (but a little lower at the back)...

Image

Before Japfest I hope to get the rims powder-coated. From the start I thought I'd go for white, having been influenced by this (I know it's a slightly different colour car ;-) )...

Image

But since photoshopping it, I decided it's a no no... I hadn't even bothered photoshopping it properly!...

Image

So I went a shade or 5 darker, but it just looked a little bland...

Image

So I've decided (for sure) that I'm going to go for a dark grey/anthracite shade (Matt black would be too dark and loose the spokes)...

Image

But I've since had another big influence... From this...

Image

And I also want to add a little touch to the rims, and this is where I'm torn...

I've narrowed the choice down to 4 colours...

Petrol Blue (A simular, brighter colour than the Monterey green of the car)...
Image

Royal Blue...

Red...

Or yellow...

EDIT: Late entry (You can always change your vote)...

Burgundy...

The coloured stripe in the rims will be made from 60mm wide vinyl, so I can always easily remove it if I get bored with it or fancy a change, but ideally I want to add the stripe before I get them tyred up. I'm too indecisive with which colour to go for, so I thought I'd put a poll together and leave it running until it's time to order it ;-)

So what do you guys think? :)

There's only one logical choice, and the name (rather coincidentally) is the same as the stuff you fuel the car with 8-)

a. The tyre going on it will be slightly larger in diameter, but they also stick out past the arches, so I can't really go any lower ;-)
b, I HATE polished lips on anything other than a completely polished rim ;-)
c, Maybe in time, but it's not a priority ;-)

Anyway, have you voted?! :lecture:

I like the red, I think it suits it the best. A blue would be good if it was the same as the car, I think that'd look amazing 8-)

That's one reason I chose the Petrol Blue as it's basically a darker shade of the body colour. I never really like it when wheels are colour coded to the body (unless it's black, white or silver)... Besides... Then they'd be the same colour as Dom's!

its such a hard choice though! the blue reminds me of the dodge viper i ALWAYS used to have on gt3, always had 3 spoke advans with a red lip on it

the red reminds me of the ttrs concept artwork audi released ages ago

so both of those colours just dont match up with a honda in my mind!

i actively HATE the yellow because it just doesnt belong there.

petrol blue just sounds homosexual!

see my predicament!? or am i thinking too much into it!?

why not have a grey or white rim?!

Well it's going to say "Accord" on the side, not "Petrol Blue", so that should really matter

I think you may be thinking about it a little too hard ;-)

And White, Ivory and Light Grey were my first choices, and I was happy with Ivory... Until I threw a bit of pigment in there ;-)

i have decided!

none of the offered options!

your rim colour should match the background colour of the writing on the side!
