What one do you use? Do you use a detailing spray along with it? Where do you buy it from?
Cheers.

Of all i've tried, Sonus Green Clay with diluted Meguiars Last Touch has been the best for me.
Didn't get on at all with Bilt Hamber which you use with just water, i really don't like it, marred the paint something rotten.

Oh, bought from Tim at Clean Your Car, although there are many online suppliers, just find the one with the best postage as the price is usually pretty much the same.

I use Meguiars Quik Clay. Does the job!

Do you literally rub the clay over the paintwork once you've washed the car to get out all the anchored-in crap?

Yeah, break off a good chunk, warm it up in your hands, flatten it out a bit and rub "lightly" on the paint with plenty of lube.
You will feel it grip at first, then get smoother as it picks up the crap.
If you want to feel the effect, put a carrier bag on your hand and glide your fingers across the paint, it exagerates the feeling and your paint will feel like sandpaper. Then clay. Then rub your hand over it again with the carrier bag. It will feel smoother than fingering a wet Tackle Box whilst wearing a latex glove....

Pretty much! But always using lubricant so the clay just glides over.

One question though, can you reuse the bar or is it a one use thing?
