Legal or not

I have just bought some headlight tint/ s and looked up on youtube a DIY video...come to learn it is or might be illegal...can anyone shed some light on this please

Prob illegal. Flyscreen is not though.

Depends whether the info they provide in the listing is true or not. You could ask them for a link to the. Gov site.

I've been passing MOT with no problem, and never had any problem with police

I put that fly-eye jobby my lights, I thought it looked cool until I hit a country lane at night and realised I couldn't see anything. Terrible reduction in light despite their bullshit claims otherwise. And that's with decent HIDs too. Ripped it off the following day.
I can't see that any tint (whether spray or film) will be any better. Whether illegal or not, you need your lights to be as bright as possible if ever driving in the dark with no street lights.

I think you can, otherwise i never would past MOT. Do i ? It depence of quality of tint and how dark it gonna be, i tkink. True is that stopping some of light, but not much. Condition of your headlights is important as well.
